I have been very upset lately. About global warming.

seriously.

I've cried, my stomach has been in knots, my entire weekend, basically, was ruined by global wamring.

I realize how important it is, but, at the same time, how stupid that sounds, and that's why I'm saying it. Me saying "I've been very sad lately. About global warming." and realizing how ineffectually childish that is, is pretty much the only cure I've found for this inhibiting (I won't yet say debilitating) anxiety. That and listening to old french pop on my ipod while watching a 2 year old boy sing old mcdonald and pretending he was lipsynching to Jane Birkin. When his mom went to look at the map, he didn't listen to her and stay seated but instead fell on his HEAD when the train lurched to a stop. His mom being euro, she didn't bug out about it, but everyone on the train was very concerned. I missed most of the action. I was crossing out clauses and altering punctuation in a dance review in the times, distracting myself from what I'm certain is certain doom. The result:

Its possible I'm sort of unbalanced. For the moment, at least my medicine is a newspaper that costs a dollar and is recyclable.
